Who is Kerry L. Bender?

Greetings,
I am an ordained minister and have been a pastor as well as chaplain at a university where I led an ecumenical Christian Leadership Center and taught in the fields of theology and political science. Through the years I have taught courses at the high school, university, and seminary level. In addition, I have spoken at numerous camps, church retreats, personal vision casting seminars, and other events. I am currently pursuing a PhD in theology – in particular the theology of preaching. In the midst of my time of study, I am hoping to travel and have opportunity to speak in a variety of settings about my passions and my joys in life: Christianity, ecumenism, politics, leadership, and parenting (my wife Stacy and I have two adult children, both seniors at Baylor University). It is my hope that if you are looking for a speaker for your church, retreat (educational, corporate, church, etc.), club, or other event that you would consider reaching out to me. I would love to talk about possible topics, fees, and travel arrangements. |
